Computer Software Development 

35. Soundwave 2003-04  software created before AI in the early 2000’s. This measured the frequency of spoken English and  compared two speakers. Japanese could measure their pronunciation accuracy. 



Language Concepts 

36. “English is like a watch” - all parts are connected and must be studied together.

37. “Failure to succeed in English is by design” - complete success in English in Japan would become a national security problem for the economy of the country.

38. “Lost the ability to hear English.” - The training of Romaji eliminated the need to listen to English details.  Spelling is enough in Japan.
